¡Esta va a ser una prueba larga! La publicación alemana Auto Bild suele realizar las pruebas de neumáticos más exhaustivas de todas las publicaciones tradicionales, y 2019 no es una excepción. Después de someter cincuenta y tres patrones de neumáticos 225/45 R17 a pruebas de frenado en seco y mojado para establecer los veinte mejores disponibles en el mercado, Auto Bild ha sometido a los mejores neumáticos de 17" a una prueba completa extremadamente exhaustiva, ¡e incluso ha incluido la prueba de desgaste que a menudo se omite!

El Michelin Pilot Sport 4 continuó con una racha de resultados muy sólida en 2018 y ganó la prueba general, seguido por el nuevo Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 en un segundo puesto muy cercano. El nuevo Goodyear solo tuvo un punto débil, la prueba de resistencia a la rodadura, y también se informó que tenía un precio de compra muy alto, lo que ya no se aplica en el mercado del Reino Unido.

El tercer puesto fue para otro neumático nuevo, el Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3. Esto continúa con los excelentes resultados que Hankook ha logrado con el nuevo Ventus Prime 3 en 2018 y confirma lo que el mercado ya sospechaba desde hace tiempo: Hankook es ahora un jugador de primera calidad. El Falken FK510, más consolidado, estuvo a la altura del Hankook, con su único punto débil siendo el desgaste.

También vale la pena señalar que esta es la primera prueba en la que participa el Nokian WetProof, que ocupa el séptimo lugar. Con el nombre de WetProof, el nuevo Nokian demostró ser extremadamente fuerte en las pruebas de manejo en mojado, pero tuvo dificultades durante las pruebas de aquaplaning.

Seco

Si se promedian los resultados de frenada en seco y de conducción en seco, el Michelin Pilot Sport 4 es el mejor neumático para clima seco en general, con una gran diferencia durante la prueba de frenada en seco. Los evaluadores de Auto Bild también comentaron que el Michelin Pilot Sport 4 fue el mejor neumático de conducción en la prueba, con una excelente sensación y precisión en la dirección.

Húmedo
